Thank you for your continued feedback! We are happy to share that we have rolled out 800+ emojis to our Desktop and Web platforms, with Mobile rolling out in the coming months. This update includes 6 skin tone options, different genders for applicable emojis, and emojis featuring people with disabilities. Please note that you can also add native OS emojis using “Win + .” shortcut in Windows and “Cmd + Ctrl + Space” in MacOS.

Today, you can add a custom meme with your own caption in the Sticker/Memes feature. To learn more, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/send-an-emoji-gif-or-sticker-in-teams-174248c9-e64d-4de1-9f41-3199cc0751ad.

We are using Teams as a central communication platform (as intended by Microsoft). That means we are using a ton of integrations with other tools. Almost all of these integrations rely on webhooks.
Each webhook starting a new conversation is really inconvenient. As the number of integrations increase, it becomes a notification storm that you can't silence and destroys usability.

The whole point of using Teams is moving away from the clutter of e-mail inboxes into a more efficient interface. If webhooks can't respond to existing threads, Teams UI becomes something like an inbox with many folders and mailbox rules. All the efficiency is lost.

Hi everyone, I wanted to check in on this ask because it’s died down since GA, and also because the ask is not totally clear to me.

Right now, we provide a way during the team creation process for you to select an existing Office 365 group. Are you asking to be able to do this same thing, but outside of Teams?

    Do let me know!

    Sincerely,
    Suphatra

You know what, thumbsup is the only reaction we use in our team.

Instead of people saying "ok", "I understand" "done", "yes" or other similar positive things. The exact meaning is derived from the context. Therefor a "thumbsdown reaction to represent all sorts of negative reactions is needed.

The other 5 reactions? We don't use them, they are pretty much useless as reactions. Most of the time we send emojis instead. You are welcome to replace any of those five reactions with a thumbsdown.

There is a thumbsup reaction which in general indicates a "positive" feedback. Something for a "negative" feedback is also needed.

    An example everyday use:

At the end of our morning chat I ask my team "Does anyone want to add anything?". When they don't have anything to add, they want to react with a thumbsdown, meaning "No I don't have anything to add", but there is no thumbsdown reaction.

Instead they either reply with a "No" message which is a low information clutter message (something reactions are built to overcome) or they just keep silent which is confusing.

    Same issue here.

Tried both unsaving from the saved messages list and the message's context menu, same result.

The issue happens on Desktop Client for me. Closing and relaunching the desktop client did not help but if I open the web client I see that the message is successfully unsaved and no longer in the list. For some reason, desktop client seems to refuse forgetting the message.

This could work just like mentions.
You know if I am mentioned in a message, an @ icon appears on the right side of the message. A similar visual indicator could be used for Saved Messages.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

    partially done  ·  Warren responded

As mentioned in the prior status, the channel limit was raised from 100 to 200.

In the near future a retention limit will be set so you can still go back and reinstate a channel you had deleted. Once the retention period has expired then the channel will get a hard delete which will free up the space and no longer count toward the 200 channel limit.

This will help with some of the issues you have voiced in the comments below.
But I understand many of you wish the limit to be further increased. I will continue to provide your votes and comments to the feature team.

I think this limit should be even higher, limitless if possible. Just like Slack.

Each channel is part of organizational memory, it keeps what people said over a particular subject. Doing this in a single channel for the project does not help. It is terrible for traceability.

We would very much like to employ a use case where a separate channel can be created (on demand) for any task in a project so the channel link can be put on the task and stored indefinitely. This way you create a channel just for the task and invite only the people related to that task. What they say and discuss about it is stored linked to that task as part of organizational memory. You might have hundreds of channels for a project (besides your main project channel).
