Specifically for guests from external organisations this is another case of a tenant centric approach by Microsoft instead of team based approach. This is Micosoft TEAMS and teams regularly have full members outside the Tenant.

This is a critical weakness of teams that it is designed for 'in tenant' cooperation with second class external guests. That's not how real teams work, who are usually operating across multiple companies who would never join under one tenant.

We work in multi company teams and the limitations of guest access are a total pain

I wholly agree that this is a neessary core function, not a 'feature'.. We work in multi organisation teams where 'ownership' moves around the team.Trying to force the team into one 'host' Tennant, (and buying 365 licences in the 'host' tennant for everyone who already pays for 365 licences in their own tennant) is nonsense.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

On a phone, when reviewing plans for teams you are a GUEST of you must use the Planner App within Teams. In this app you cannot scroll down. You can scroll across buckets but not down one, so if the bucket is bigger than the phone screeen you cannot see the lower entries.
