Skype, Zoom, and Google Meet all handle this better than Teams.

I find it very disconcerting to have my windows shift around every time I share something new. Makes collaboration all that much more difficult as I have to search through open windows to find the chat. I am using multiple screens and want the meeting chat and participants window to stay where I left them while I show another screen.

In general, the Teams interface on Microsoft Windows is disappointing for its inflexible layout options. It would be really nice to bring Teams into the modern user experience for meetings by offering features like this: I need to see the list of users on the meeting as well as view the meeting chat.

I would like a way to make the meeting controls go away or dock in another part of the interface; I almost never want them in front of my view of the meeting screen share! This user experience seems like such a backward step from other Microsoft products, and teams as a virtual meeting platform is not keeping up with the usability of other platforms available out there.
