Thank you for your continued feedback. The feature team is actively working on this highly requested feature. We are testing the first release that will have the ability for meeting hosts to create breakout rooms, assign the users to the rooms and call them back to the main room. Is there any expert here that can just post a power shell command that will solve this temporarily, until Microsoft realizes their mistake?

I would really, really love to have the option to have "open rooms". Think of an unconference where different rooms have different themes, and you let the participants choose which room to go to, and they are allowed to move around freely.
It's 2020, let people decide themselves what they want to discuss :)
