This item is still under review by the feature team. I have no details as to when a decision might happen.

Hi Microsoft, You may want to understand little bit more about what they are asking. Basic feature of a messaging app is the bring up the items which need attention in the top. I should not scroll. while Chat section is doing that, I do not see this happening in Teams part. Do not know which product manager designed it that way.

Actually, I do not want Teams/chats which have nothing new to disappear from the chat window completely. The UI space should remain unpolluted. This is so simple to do but going round and round making it difficult for users and I see a very noisy page.

hi, this may not be a great idea because group chat window will get overloaded with too many different chats. quite a few meetings are done with one meeting. is not worth keeping an chat entry open on this.

better way would be to isolate the meeting chats out of group chats and keep it as a separate side bar item.

Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

    Thanks!
