We are excited to announce the 3×3 video view has been rolled out 100% to for Windows and Mac Clients. If you aren’t seeing 3×3 yet, please logout and log back in to the client.
We realize 3×3 is a start, but not good enough… as mentioned, we are continuing to work to include more videos during a meeting, as well as enabling support for mobile devices. Hence, the “partially done” status.
Please see documentation here: https://support.office.com/article/using-video-in-microsoft-teams-3647fc29-7b92-4c26-8c2d-8a596904cdae

Google Meets was able to install a chrome extension that enabled all participants to be viewed. I wonder if that is a possibility in teams as well. It was a grid system and my son was able to see all 20 kids in his class. We had originally used Teams but since we were using it so the kids could see their classmates after nearly a month of not seeing them, only seeing the person talking (and the host of the mtg) was not enough for them. We had to do google Meets. If schools are going online next fall, I would highly recommend you figure out how to accommodate these numbers, for all levels of schooling, from elementary to a university.
