I’m happy to share that the team has started exploring designs for this feature.

I have to agree with many others, this is annoying and gives the appearance that there was no thought even given to have the ability to clean things up totally. Unfortunately because it falls under the new latest and greatest that managers can have something to chat about at ******** parties or provides a reason for endless meetings, job security and justification for positions many of in the workforce are having it rammed down our throats and not given a choice to not use it. If I am the one who needs to initiate something I still use my email, it works just as well but gives me the control to decide what I want or need to archive. I hate the clutter of Teams and if people know how to use their email for communications it is really redundant for just messages. Unfortunately my company has not seen fit to explore or try any other features as group convos and meetings have lost out to Zoom, which is even more of a disasater.
