Although this is an old issue, and we never had this back in June 2020, for the last couple of months we are getting increasing reports of users not being able to see incoming video feeds, usually when there is more than one other person in the call. All other participants can see each other and the affected user. It happens to people with PCs and Macs in our University. Minimizing the window as above doesn't seem to cure the issue. One user reported that video turned on when the affected user "spotlights" one of the video stream, but only the video spotlighted.

This is a terrible idea. I own my own laptop, which I bought with my own money. Yet my organization has enabled this option which stops me from using Teams with a personal account on my laptop, and there's no way for me to undo that. Please don't make this even more restrictive. On the contrary, give me the ability to unlink Teams from my org (and no, logging out doesn't do that).

Ridiculous and insecure "feature". Now, on my very own computer, I can't log in to Teams as a personal user (non-work related), because it says my org doesn't allow me to use Teams with a personal account. WTF???? I logged out but it refuses to let me log in with my own personal account, and I can't attend any personal meeting set up by another person! My work does ***NOT*** own my laptop. I bought it with my own money! They have no right to stop me doing things on my own device.

Feature teams have been finding unique areas of improvement around crashes/hangs/lock ups of the client, and have been making small improvements through both proactive and reactive findings to help around reliability regressions. If you happen to see any unique issues, please let us know and we will continue to share updates as they become available.

Our standard advice to our staff is to reboot their machines (PCs or Macs) before joining a Teams meeting. Otherwise we get frozen people, crashing machines, inability to share screens etc. What kind of app requires a reboot of the machine in order to run reliably? Please, MS, rewrite the Windows version using a light-weight technology like UWP.

We are happy to share that Electron 10 is rolling out to the public ring now, so you should notice improvements. We expect overall performance of Teams to improve even further with upcoming fixes around the calling and meeting features We will share another update as soon as we are able to.

Rewrite the app as a lightweight UWP. You could still keep it using JavaScript and I bet it would be much lighter and faster than Electron. Oh wait, you decided not to support HTML5/JS UWP apps in Visual Studio 2019, doh. Fire the idiots who took that decision!

This is so annoying. I've had to exit the meeting, leaving students wating, and re-enter just to be able to share a document. Does Microsoft not run UI tests for this kind of thing before releasing a build?
