I apologize for not having updated this. Changing the landing page for a Team and/or Channel remains on the backlog at this time.

It would be great to have a Wiki page as the landing page in a Channel - we don't always need conversations in all areas in Teams.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

Use Live Events - anyone not a presenter can't mute anyone else or un-mute themselves, by default.
Alternatively, make sure only presenters are designated as such in the meeting options in a Teams meeting
