Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

I too couldn't figure out why didn't have Sync Button on Microsoft Teams. This is already available this year. If the Sync Button is not available on Microsoft Teams, try the following:
Log into your Admin Center > SharePoint Admin Center > Settings > Classic Settings Page (down at the bottom).

    Change the below settings:
One Drive Sync Button - Start the new client
Sync Client for SharePoint - Start the new client

The above can take 24 hours to reflect the change, I tried the below after 3 hours and it worked and I now have the sync button.

Once you've performed the above, quit out of Teams, browse to %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams and either delete or rename the IndexedDB folder. I renamed it to IndexedDB.old.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.
