Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:

    - Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook

    - Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams

    - Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

See this post for more information:

Nested Teams makes no sense to me, but sub-channels are becoming a must...
Let me highlight that one of the key benefits for us with Teams is not only doing the work today, but being able to retrieve and update that work at some future time.
Creating a team creates a new SharePoint page for the Team, and each Channel creates a new Folder within the page file area. (We deploy the largest practical Team otherwise file collaboration is not possible across smaller teams.)
Within a large team, channels either end up being broad, and then specific discussion topics get lost in a large volume of discussion, or channels become very specific, and there are a large number of channels that may contain related content...
Sub Channels allow content within Channels (and the underlying file structure within the site) to be more logically organized and managed, and all the resultant conversations are more focused on the specific topic area.

The team has delivered improvements to the New Meeting experience in Calendar such as optional attendees, richer custom recurrence UX, as well as enhanced meeting RSVPs.

In my experience, the only problem is that an email often contains a wider group than the actual people who need to "work" on the issue... these people may already be in a team with other collaborators not on the email, and I generally don't want (for example) our CEO dragged into a detailed chat, even though he might have been on the email... the other option is to forward the email to the Team or Channel and then work on the issue from there... you then have the background issue, and who needs to be included in the communication of the final resolution. I am sure there are other ways to work, but my mantra is becoming "Work in Teams, Communicate in Email"

Totally agree... the Share Partial Screen in Zoom is awesome... move and resize the shared panel on a large monitor or across multiple monitors, drag application windows in and out of the shared panel... it's the only reason I use Zoom over Teams for meetings where I need to share technical content.
