   The team has updated the default sound for Teams notifications so it is more noticeable. We are in final testing, with a goal to release the new sound by the end of this quarter.

   Since many comments below focus on the selection of the "type" of sound (which is another topic), I just would like to emphasize how welcome it would be to split the sound signal between calls and chats/mention!
   Pleease change this! Please!
   By the way, it's the year 2020 in the meantime, and there are hundreds of votes for this!
