    Overall, there should be more roles in Teams, not just owner and member. There are just owners who could do everything and members who could do nothing really. Hence, if you want to enable multiple people who can administrate, this introduces risk of accidental actions that are damaging.

    Same request from our school where they have been setting up channels for each subject (and one class is a class team) and would really like to be able to create assignments per channel, not only in the general channel. This is not just because of sprawl of teams, but also the desire to prevent multiple owners per team, but rather have moderators (subject teachers) create assignments in their specific channels.
