The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
Thanks!

The irony about this all is, that the other Teams channel I cannot use is the one provided by Microsoft consultants which are working with us. Therefore they are running a second instance in their browser. Your own consultants need this feature!

Even if people would use Teams with personal accounts. Who is using his personal and work account on the same device? Your priorities are completely backwards.

I'd suggest to fire the product manager and get somebody who actually used the tool at least once.

It feels like in the 90's.Instead of ICQ, AOL and MSN messengers I need to open 3 browsers to have each of my Teams accounts in it's own window.

Do you really think there are other features that are worth more attention? Like showing more faces during a call? Or video filters?
We got Teams because of home office during the pandemic, but that attention will backfire on you because now everybody knows that basic features are missing and you're not able to fix it for many years.

Check out the roadmap: https://www.microsoft.com/de-de/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=In%20development&searchterms=Microsoft%2CTeams#owRoadmapMainContent
Seems like Video Filters and Suggested Replies are more important than telling you that somebody is calling you on the other (online!) account.

Microsoft Teams will not tell me when somebody is calling me, because I selected the other account one hour ago, but it's still showing me as online to the caller.
Do you really think there are other features that are worth more attention? Like showing more faces during a call? We got Teams because of home office during the pandemic, this attention will bite you back, because of this huge red flag you're not able to see.

Thank you for your recent votes on the individual performance items. High memory and RAM usage is something we are continuously working to improve, and the team is hard at work on fixes.
If interested, you can find more details on how Teams currently uses Memory at https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/teams-memory-usage-perf.

42,530 votesThank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

As I can't receive messages from my second account anyway, there is no reason to answer them.

Microsoft Consultants themselves hate it, because they have to run multiple Teams accounts in browsers.
