Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

The attendee report functionality is available to be enabled by Admins via PowerShell. Organizers have the ability to download the attendee list, but ONLY during the meeting. The CSV download lists a column for User Action for Joined and Left, and then there is a timestamp column. So, this does currently exist!!

@Alex @Microsoft - any chance we will see the removal of the limit of 15 contacts that can be added to notifications of status changes?

@Gary ******* - this actually does exist. Go into Profile>Settings>Notifications, and at the bottom of the Notification settings you will see a Status section and a button for "Manage Notifications". Here you can add individual users that you wish to get notification when they are Available or go Offline. Hope this helps!

As the last status states, we have been testing for several months.  Although many people have asked for this feature, we received a similar amount of feedback from other users that they prefer the Teams notifications and don’t want them changed.  We are currently testing a feature for users to choose between Teams notifications & Windows notifications.

We will update you as work progresses.

Please add to the comments if you are experiencing this. I would like to know the OS and device you are using as well.

I’ll bring this feedback to the feature team and help get this investigated.

On iOS recently I was not getting any notifications, and could not resolve in any of the settings. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled, and all my notification functionality came back.

Thank you for your feedback! The team has reviewed this request and has added it to our backlog for both Standard (Public) to Private and Private to Standard (Public) channel conversion. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.

This would be great, and I see someone previously gave insight of why this is NOT and easy thing to build in. I would hope people are aware that when you create a Private channel, that creates a completely new SharePoint Site Collection (group site). It's completely orphaned and has no relation to the other Site Collection that was created for the initial Team. To maintain complete control of security of this new Private Channel, you just can't use the same site collection, and break permissions in some way, without breaking things from the other Public channel(s) that exist. Because a Teams channel is more than just the folder in the Documents library where files are stored, its by no means simple.

So, consider the mechanism and checks and balances in an automated process of switching from a Public to Private or Private to Public. Step out of Teams into just plain SharePoint Online and consider either merging two sites together or breaking only certain things apart into two site collections. Going from Public to Private would be the easier of the two, that's for sure, but no light task.

So, those of you that state this should be basic, because SharePoint can change permissions, why can't Teams do it...need to understand its not just about permissions...well it is...but breaking apart from all functionality and applications that can be tied to a public channel, and and which live under the shell of the SharePoint Group site collection...and then moving them all to a Private channel...could break the Team in other ways.

Hey Microsoft - this couldn't be more annoying, and unproductive for the General Channel. What's worse, is if you use PowerShell to import a bulk list of names, then there is an "xxxx added John Doe to the Team" for every imported line. If you do them manually in bulk via the Add member, you will get one line like "xxxx added John Doe and 100 other users".

Conversations in the General tab are useless, as they just disappear far above all this nonsense 'added user' lines. Grrrr.
