we have this!  ·  v-brorob responded

Adding a subject line to a message makes it a lot more scannable for everyone else. To do that, first you need to expand your compose box by clicking format icon. From there, just type the subject line you want in the first line of your expanded compose box.

After using Teams for a few weeks, I just found this feature. However, if it results in multiple user suggestions, it's (obviously) not apparent enough to be useful for most users.
In addition, it would be nice if giving the same subject to multple conversations in a channel (which happens ALL THE TIME) would cause them to combine into a single thread!

I agree. I'm trying to convince my office to use Teams instead of emails for threads, but it's much easier to "reply all" to an email than to "reply" in Teams, compared to "Start a new conversation". I make the same mistake myself constantly.
Ideally, threads could be combined (at LEAST by an admin), and ideally via drag-and-drop. THEN, thread could even be named (i.e. the thread can be given a subject, so to speak).

Thank you for your continued feedback. We are in the process of testing the downloading of the attendance report after the meeting has concluded. For status updates, please view the roadmap item here, https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66459.

Download of the meeting attendance list during a meeting is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy. Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.
