I suspect that built-in wiki is a dead-end product. I suggest to try 3-rd party wiki solutions. For example, Perfect Wiki has a version history for each page.

Unfortunately, built-in wiki is almost abandoned. That's why I suggest to try 3-rd party wiki solutions for MS Teams. For example, with Perfect Wiki you can add code snippets in VBScript/JS/Python and a lot of other programming languages.

As said in another thread here on user voice - "built-in wiki is a dead-end product". That's why you should try 3-rd party solutions. For example, with Perfect Wiki you can export pages to PDF & HTML or print them. Also you can import pages from docx/built-in wiki/rss/txt/md and much more

    Hey everyone,

Thank you for your feedback! We support adding multiple pages to a single Wiki tab by choosing the “Create a new page” button on the bottom of the Table of Contents pane. This pane can be opened by tapping the menu button on the top-left of the Wiki.

We’re working to make the Table of Contents easily accessible on larger displays so that this option will be just a single tap away!

    Thanks,
    Mark

I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.

Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.

    Hope that helps! :-)

It was a really big problem for me. To solve it I developed chatbot TranslateIt!. I published it on the MS Teams marketplace so you can use it as well.

TranslateIt chatbot can translate text instantly to any language (no matter what locale you have). Furthermore it will show the original message.

This bot saves me a lot of time. Check the screenshot with example usage.

It was a big pain in my company, so I decided to built a workaround by myself.

I developed & published TranslateIt! chatbot in MS Teams Marketplace (AppSource). It can translate messages in a channel or group to any language (no matter what is user locale) and show original text.

Due to Microsoft restrictions it can't do it automatically for all messages in the channel or gorup, so you need to mention the bot somewhere in your message (e.g. @transalteit), nevertheless it's a great time saver!
