And, when you get an outlook reminder, you have to click join THREE TIMES!

Oh, and you STILL have to make sure you're muted prior to joining!

Why in God's name is this not a setting? I prefer to always join muted by default regardless of the number of other attendees already in the meeting... unless I am the meeting organizer. That way I can be sure I am not belching or ******* and my dogs aren't barking on the call. Come to think of it, this is the way Skype already works and it's fine. Doesn't Microsoft own Skype?

Why has Microsoft decided again they know better what we want than we do and don't think we need to be able to configure because we are too ignorant?

Let me just say this. Microsoft is by far the worst software provider for meeting user demands. This here is a basic requirement, not pie-in-the-sky, This request was THREE YEARS AGO!! And Microsoft still hasn't done anything.

If Microsoft wants people to use their products they need to meet their demands. If they can't meet demands, then stop trying to pigeonhole us into using your products!

Is Microsoft so bloated that it cannot make simple decisions on software? Or is it that they they have so integrated their products that they can't make any enhancements without breaking 100 other things? Or is it that those in control of software are so full of themselves they can't imagine people in the real world actually NEED functionality?

    This is freaking ridiculous.

    It's pitiful!

    1. Click "Join" from Outlook Reminders
    2. Click "Open Microsoft Teams" from Chrome Browser
    3. Click "Join now" (and don't forget to mute your mic!!) on Microsoft Teams
