The team has placed Search for the List App on the backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available. In the meantime, you may want to try using filter as a workaround.

I really like the suggestion of creating an alarm on a message, so you come back to it. I’ve passed this on to our engineering team.
Meanwhile, here’s another feature you can utilize for the same purpose — use our “bookmark” button, which is in the upper right corner of every message. This will save that message or thread directly to your profile. To access your saved messages, just click your face in the upper left corner of the product. You’ll see a tab in the left rail that says “Saved.” This is like a list of little reminders.
Hope that helps! :-)

We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)
You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

I would never have thought I'd be stressed out by notifications so much, I use DND from time to time when I need to, however, the Teams notifications dominate my interface and interfere with my work, whereas, at least with the Mac ones you can give a simple flick and they're out of your way.

Unfortunately because of changing priorities, this feature was moved to the backlog. The team hopes to pick it up again in the near future.

Such as basic necessity! I'm sick of people telling me their files are corrupt because they assumed their download was finished when it wasn't.

The team is looking into this feature and considering solutions. We will update when there is more information to share.

It never ceases to amaze me what I stumble upon, that I take for granted, that should just work.

We have raised the priority of this work item, and it is currently being worked on. We don’t have any dates to share at this point, but will update when we have new status. Thank you!

This is a basic essential need, we've only been using Teams for 9 months and we are swimming in unwanted channels, and hiding, although a reasonable approach, is not ideal at all. It would be also great to ensure there is a Microsoft Flow connector to Archive Channel for further efficiency.
