Teams is great, but it can generate a lot of noise in organizations that use it heavily. I often get scheduled for 2 or 3 Teams meetings at the same time slot, and can only accept one. It's very distracting to get chat notifications from the meetings that I declined while I'm attending a different Teams meeting (especially if I'm sharing my screen). If I decline a Teams meeting, there's no reason for me to get those chat notifications.

This is creating security risks. For example, if I invite an employee to present project status at a managers' meeting, then that employee can continue to see chat threads of future managers. meetings, where confidential information may be exposed.
