We are continually working on improving battery life. One thing that may help in the meantime is using Dark theme, which was a top mobile request added to Teams mobile in February.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to announce that an option to choose between Windows 10 Native Notifications and Teams Notifications is included in our Dec 2020 Public Preview pack, and will be available to users who opt into Public Preview.

The Teams iOS app is draining battery when a meeting is in progress, even when the iOS device is in standby and the Teams meeting is being joined on another device. It gets really bad when all we do these days is have Teams meetings online.
