I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

For more details, check out the Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=65333.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

Seriously, this has to be something that can be accomplished in the next few weeks. We are gaining so much adoption on the tool, but this is the ONLY remaining issue for our organization!! I have people creating Zoom meetings just to have this feature and it's mind-boggling that MS can't fix this!! And yet, they want to roll out "custom backgrounds"!!! Let's get on with real updates, not rolling out these kind of non value add items!~
