Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

Supervising a team who is transitioning to working from home for the first time ever due to COVID-19 requires effective and clear communication. This simple feature would be a big help in ensuring all members of my team see important information when I post it!

I agree, as a supervisor of a team now working strictly from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, using Teams has been vital to our success. However, important posts in a feed are easily lost and I keep finding myself looking for an option to pin something that I need all of my team members to see. It seems like such a simple feature that would make a big difference in effective communication!
