Teaching numerous different classes remotely makes it impossible to remember what and to which group you wanted to post today. That's why a timed message would be very helpful indeed, so you can draft all the messages at one go, or when your working with a particular assignment to which you want add a message as well, but published at the same time as the assignment. I see no reason why a timed message would not exist in Teams, being such a basic functionality these days.
