In May we introduced a new user setting, Only me, that meeting organizers could select when configuring the “Who can bypass lobby?” setting for a Teams meeting. We are now making it possible for you to set Teams meeting defaults in your organization so that only meeting organizers can bypass the lobby.

Your IT admin will now be able to set “Automatically admit people” to Organizer only

    Please note

When set, only the organizer can join directly; all attendees will need to enter via lobby
Once this is your tenant default, it applies to all new meetings created by the user. It does not affect meetings set up prior to this change where Meeting options were updated.
To change the lobby setting for previously created meetings, Meeting organizers can select Meeting options in the meeting invitation for each meeting they schedule.
For additional guidance, see Student safety meeting policies: …

Younger students love the animation when they submit as assignment.
I want the ability to give them stickers and praise. I would like the ability to add stickers be an option in the comment box.

try this instead  ·  Suphatra responded

Currently we have Teams defaulted to show you the first (up to five) channels ever created. If you want to add more channels to your left rail view, just click the ellipses next to the channel name and select “Favorite”. When you favorite the channel, it will then be “pinned” to your left rail under that team name.

Try that and let me know if that meets your needs!

I teach grade 3. Hiding channels is a problem. I need all channels shown or else kids can't find them.

I teach grade 3. I needed to delete over 75 chats from one of the channels. (My district disabled private chat between students.) I am now left with a plethora of "This message has been deleted" messages. This is why I would like the option of deleting private chat threads.
