    Yeah, this interface is just... clunky. Simple? yes..

    But the purpose is to communicate clearly with team members. The odd, limited/fixed message width and all the empty space surrounding the channel lists & message areas is just really inefficient.

    From a developer perspective, coming from Slack, the code-snippets is just awkward. Instead of making code/SQL/formatted-text easier to read (the whole purpose), it condenses it into this little box you have to scroll around in. Basic UI failure IMO...

    Yeah, I've got a wide monitor.. I usually keep Teams in a medium sized windows ~ 1500 pixels wide. But it has all this empty space in the chat window. If I make the window wider, the chat portion stays fixed at about 800 pixels in width, but the actual message is only 656 pixels wide...

    So when I create formatted text-snippets, those have even MORE padding and you can't see much of the content w/o scrolling.
