Thank you for your continued feedback. As many people have pointed out, this is available on mobile today. Support for replying to a specific message is on the backlog for desktop. I’ll let you know when we have progress to share. Thanks.

Coming from Skype, I used that daily in Chat with colleagues. Please add that feature (right click to quote text of old chat message into new one)

If you would use Teams seriously for Software Development (e.g. even medical devices), you need eventually to make protocols of what have been said, because Teams has no reliable backup (your admins taff can accidentally delete accounts, channels or people leave the company).
Therefore, eventually, important Team Chats with Screenshots and Texts and Date/Timestamps need to be converted to .PDF for backup / storage
