What's the point of this Activity Feed? All I see are "added", "mentioned", and reactions. But it doesn't notify me what someone actually typed. So now I have to click Activity Feed, see who "reacted", and then click on Chat, to see what they actually typed after they reacted.

I could have just gone straight to Chat and you could just added a little "contact has reacted" notification right there. Same with "user was added". Do you guys know just how bad it is to do that dozens of times for 5 days a week? This is just pointlessly detrimental to people with RSI.

This feature is still being reviewed by the feature team. No decision has been made yet. I’ll keep you posted.

There seriously needs to be an option for this. Forcing me to switch between direct Chats and Teams all the time is a bit silly.

For people who disagree... there's nothing stopping them from grouping "Chats" as a Team. No one is asking for a messy mixed up interface. That way, you can instantly see which Channel and which User has a pending message to be read - don't force me to switch to Chats just to see who has responded, then force me to switch back to Teams to see which Channel has been updated.

I can't believe it'll take more than a couple of hours (if not minutes) to just change the width of the chat boxes. Basically, I think Microsoft is saying "No" to this request. What a lousy experience moving from Slack to Teams. Stop trying to make Teams look like an Instant Messenger, and make it look like a chat room, as that's what it is.
