This item is still under consideration by the feature team.

I've only realised today that this is the reason I keep missing Teams chat messages!
I'm glad we actually primarily use Slack as Teams chat is very unreliable way to send someone a message. If they don't happen to see it when you send it, they likely won't see it for hours or days.

Please fix this ASAP. It's been 3 years now.

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

Why is Teams still so bad for this when Slack makes it so easy? 3 years on and they haven't got this really basic feature. How many companies really have only one customer they need to communicate with online?
