While this user voice site is great, It's rather sad that there is apparently little engagement from MS product staff on these forums... I see endless requests for updates and on many of these items even those with 10s of thousands of votes, it can be YEARS between updates and no real match between the updates from MS staff and the published roadmaps. Happy to provide details... IF MS folks actually leverage this forum... sigh.

Madness... We HAVE Teams installed. Why when clicking the link in an invite does it not just open Teams? I could see it as a safety thing but it would be great at least for tenant meetings that folks would not have to keep clicking to join a meeting...

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

@alex... (okay, that doesn't work... chuckle). It's NOT about fast switching, it's about having a unified view of all users across disparate tenants. For multi-tenant orgs, this is essential given that end users don't get why they can message someone (if the GALs have been created to support email address directory across tenants) but that those messages go into the void when sent via teams. You MAY be alluding to this in your notification improvements and multiple accounts but it's not clear to me. Is there a product document that outlines how this will be designed?

Our org is a collection of companies acquired over the years. To be able to connect all the disparate tenants in a seamless manner in Teams would be a HUGE win for our IT org
