Yes, this would be helpful for many reasons. One reason is that sometimes you have a user who leaves the company and you need to temporarily assign their phone number to another user, while you fill the spot.

Same problem using Polycom headsets, I think this is more of a Microsoft Teams problem with the call queue's setting. This site has a possible solution, but it may kill your call reporting. Still better to be able to have customer service answer calls.

Thank you for your feedback, the team has this request under review. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
In the meantime, you may want to try using the “Do No Disturb” status if you are in a call or meeting, and do not want to get call notifications (rings and toasts). For more information on the various status settings in Teams and how they effect your notifications, including call notifications, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-your-status-in-teams-ce36ed14-6bc9-4775-a33e-6629ba4ff78e.

We are still considering the Voicemail on Busy feature for future releases, and will continue to update the status when it changes.
Note: The Busy on Busy feature has been released. Please see the following documentation for admin details:
https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/teams-calling-policy

Wow, I'm shocked this feature is not available. Microsoft, please allow calls to go to voicemail when someone is busy on another call or in a meeting. Thank you.

Yes, seeing daily call counts per person on their Teams client would be helpful.

For organizations that need call recording for compliance purposes, admins can set via policy. To see how this works for calling and meetings, please see https://docs.microsoft.com/MicrosoftTeams/teams-recording-policy.
1:1 convenience recording is currently on the teams backlog. We will share an updated here as soon as it is available.

Microsoft needs better moderation of its user-voice sites to close out old issues. You can disable this setting for all users by following this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/turn-on-or-off-entry-and-exit-announcements-for-meetings-in-teams
