It should work if ppt is shared as screenshare (i.e. desktop or window), but it does not work when ppt is shared directly (the latter approach is much more bandwidth efficient). So yes, it would be nice to get onscreen pointer in direct sharing mode of ppt files (not screenshare). See annotate.net for a working example. One must admit that it might be not very straightforward to implement such pointer or pen. Pointer would presumably require a dedicated stream of data, albeit a very tiny one.Georgi Belogurov supported this idea ·
