    I have groups set up within Outlook which makes emailing them very easy. Could we have access to these groups from Outlook which would simplify the populating of new teams.

    Agree with this comment. We are using Teams Live events for Council public meetings and the raise a hand feature here would be helpful as Councillors are using the facility. In addition we were going to use it as a simple form of voting system for small meetings but unfortunately the feature is not there which is annoying as it then limits us to only using Forms for voting.

    I would also like to see the addition of a separate language channel for a meeting so that we could use a translator rather than automated translation from Welsh into English. Users would be able to select the language channel that they want i.e. either they can either listen to Welsh and English on 1 channel if they speak both languages, or select a channel where they can hear English and the English translation only. This would give the flexibility of using either a live translator, or automated systems as they improve with time. Such a dual channel facility would also be essential for Live Events so that the public watching our meetings can access the language of their choice.

    I would agree with this. I work for a local authority and we have been holding some Councillor meetings using teams during the Covid-19 outbreak and will no doubt use this more in the future. We have co-opted Members who are non elected Members but have the full rights of Councillors who join meetings, currently as guests. We also would have members of the press or even members of the public joining the meetings as guests, listening in where meetings are accessible to the public. Therefore we need to be able to amend guest accesses e.g. co-opted Members would have full rights. Public and press would have no speaking rights or ability to see the chat bar, just be able to listen to the discussion. Giving more control of rights to meeting organisers would be very helpful.
