    In educational settings, I often need to send reminders for a certain time (e.g. when a deadline is coming up). If I cannot schedule them, I need to remember them myself. If I send them immediately, they are absolutely pointless. I could send a delayed e-mail to the channel, but this is really a workaround and it relies on my Outlook being turned on (what if I am away myself and that's why I want a scheduled reminder).

    On a university level, it is extremely common for students to work in groups and turn in a shared output. At the moment, Teams offers no support whatsoever for this: not tracking of groups, no shared submissions, no shared grading. If you look at LMS, it is a standard feature there, because they actually understand the needs of their target group.

    if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.

    The suggested workaround is pretty much useless: my problem is not that conversations are not in the right channel - I can repost them, no big deal. The problem is they are in the WRONG channel! I cannot delete them (unless they are mine) and I cannot move them. This is a much needed feature - apparently since 2017!

    I have teams that just stay open over a long period of time and the members change. Having old, now irrelevant post still hanging about stops me from keeping them clean. Also, irrelevant or wrongly placed discussion nonsensically clutter channels.

    The more I use Teams, the more cluttered it gets. There both posts, channels, and teams that are no longer relevant but that I cannot/don't want to delete. Yes, I can hide channels and teams, but at some point event the hidden items get too much. Being able to archive them would get another structuring layer.

    Again and again I see tasks where I need a countdown timer: speakers, breaks, small tasks etc.
    I know I could have a timer on desktop and share my scree, but what if I am showing slides or other content? What if I need to keep time for someone else who is presenting or sharing screen?
    Ideally, the timer would be started by the organiser and appears on the screen of all participants. An animation (e.g. flashing 1 minute before the end) and an alarm sound would also be helpful.
    A bot that writes in the chat would also be an acceptable solution.

    Thank you for your feedback, we are aware of the issues with language detection and are actively working on a fix that will again allow automatic spellchecking across multiple languages. Please note that the spell check is still working for the default language (the Teams app language). We will share an update as soon as one is available.

    Hi! As Teams now got rolled out at educational institutions, we are facing this problem all the time: some of our courses are in the national language, the others in English. Having the ability to switch would really help us.
