    We are getting closer, and are still working thru some bugs, but hope to release this as part of a Public Preview pack in early 2021! (Windows 10 released with the December 2020 pack this week)

    You can learn more about the new Microsoft Teams Public Preview program here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview, and Teams administrators can find documentation to manage which users will see the Public Preview option here: https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreviewAdmin

    Hi Swen, after installing the charles certificate you have to trust it in the macos keychain.
    As an alternative i can recommend proxyman since the setup process there is easier (One click install & trust certificate). Also proxyman runs indefinitely even with the free version.

    Instructions:
    1) Install and open Proxyman
    2) Select "certificate > install certificate on this mac" from the menu and follow the steps
    3) enable https response for teams.microsoft.com
    4) option-click on teams.microsoft.com > tools > scripting
    5) create new script for "https://teams.microsoft.com/package/desktopclient/settings/osx" with the following onResponse function:

    function onResponse(context, url, request, response) {

    // Update Body
    var body = response.body;
    body["settings"]["enableNativeNotification"] = true;
    body["settings"]["enableMacNativeNotification"] = true;
    response.body = body;

    // Done
    return response;
    }

    Hi Roman, Yes it worked for me too. But the settings String is wrong in the comment, but correct in the screenshot. It should by " *NativeNotification" instead of " *NativeNotifications". This is the correct string:

    "settings":{ into "settings":{"enableNativeNotification":true,"enableMacNativeNotification":true,

    Probably the Teams team uses Teams to communicate. That's why everything takes so long. We went back to emails for now.
