Just finished an online video call with all the parents from my daughters' class. After 30mins of helping people to log in and explaining that it only works in Chrome, WE ENDED UP USING ZOOM. I'm the IT coordinator for the school and I'm trying to get people to use Teams (I love Teams BTW) but this is not helping. I cannot force occasional users to install new browsers or installing the native app (not on Mac, doesn't work either, or Linux for that matter). This is not good for the web and not good for a good user experience. Now that MS is putting Edge on Chromium, other browsers/engines will probably never be a priority

Just installed a user agent switcher extension on Firefox and set it to Chrome. Meeting opens just fine, webcam works, did not detect my internal microphone though.
Seems that it would probably not be too much trouble to get it to work in Firefox?

We have just integrated Teams Meetings in our LMS and discovered that it doesn't work in Firefox or Safari. This is unacceptable for us, and we are considering uninstalling it again for our 15,000+ users!
I really don't understand the reasons behind this. There are enough other conferencing tools that work cross-browser with high performance (i.e. BigBlueButton; which is also integrated into our LMS).
    Sad to see this...

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!
