As the last status states, we have been testing for several months.  Although many people have asked for this feature, we received a similar amount of feedback from other users that they prefer the Teams notifications and don’t want them changed.  We are currently testing a feature for users to choose between Teams notifications & Windows notifications.

We will update you as work progresses.

Good to see this gone into testing phase - me, and others like me, who engineer AI machines, would like to see this implemented in due time. Thank you for your assurance.

Thank you for your continued feedback. We are in the process of testing the downloading of the attendance report after the meeting has concluded. For status updates, please view the roadmap item here, https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams&searchterms=66459.

Download of the meeting attendance list during a meeting is released for general availability. Please note this feature is turned off by default, and needs to be enabled via admin policy. A lot of competitor applications use this feature with ease. We engineer AI machines through various continents, and sometimes we even have a 20+ people meeting at once.

An incredibly necessary feature! It can be seen as a necessity in managing MS Teams, and user data in general. Me, and my team engineer AI across various countries. Apart from sharing textual data via IM, we tend too share articles and tools online. Me and others who engineer AI like me, could share such tools with each other with extended ease.

Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.

I guess this is the biggest criticism from the users with regard to MS Teams. Please sort this one on priority.

It would be a great addition to the existing design, if you could compartmentalize the chats and de-clutter the whole screen. My fellows and me engineer AI, which means our screens are cluttered irrespective. Would like to see more clarity on the client is all I'm saying

Wow! had not thought about this once ever! This must've been an overlook. I have chats with about 20-30 AI engineers throughout the day. There would be a time when I would need to shortlist the ones who engineer AI currently, and those formerly. I would be stuck with 200 chats that i cannot get rid of! Please address this concern!

My company has us use MS Teams (although I agree, Slack is much convenient). We normally engineer AI machines, and relay various information through a group channel. Microsoft Teams is good, but could be better. I must say though, a fair mention of Slack needs to be shed before MS. All of us, across many locations, who engineer AI - everyone prefers Slack over Teams. Just that our company doesn't permit it.

This came to my notice quite recently. Me, and my colleagues engineer AI bots and machines, and a lot of that is relayed through online communication channels, like video call, etc. The crop became much more visibly annoying as time went on. Like a lot of others who engineer AI, we have all shifted to Skype now (for a better video calling experience)

There is another thread of this sort running somewhere on this site. Nevertheless, it would be wonderful if you could tweak your bots (and engineer AI on them) so they become standardized with the product you are offering.

This feature request is still being worked upon.

I am still trying to get details on what we could expect for Cortana in Teams and will share examples once something is available.

Thank you for your patience with this ask. This is a feature is available on Teams web client now. We are currently testing the functionality of extending drag and drop support of file attachment directly from Outlook to Teams app. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Good to see this getting some development. It's basically intuition now, to use the drag and drop feature. The lack of it, is seriously unnerving.

As an AI Engineer, this was a shock to find out that it wasn't implemented as such. We engineer AI on various platforms, while trying to relay information to everyone using MSTeams. Please make this happen!

The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.

You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.

    Thanks!

I had recently experienced this (never thought I would), but I get why it could turn folks a bit sour. The guys responsible for the bot, managed to engineer ai that's fair and obnoxious at the same time. My recent research for this also involves a Minecraft video of all things (it goes as you'd expect it to). Please Fix..
