As posted in other areas also .. AND there needs to be an option for users to DISABLE **ANY** type of "auto do this setting".

I don't begrudge you that want this ... but *I* for one .. do not .. Teams changes settings based on outlook calendar ..

so a meeting can come up .. you haven't replied to the meeting and Teams sees this on your calendar and automatically takes action. I haven't replied to the positive, negative, or other .. yet teams thinks it should set me "busy".

There is also the issue with manually setting DND or other status in teams, and you come back to find your status has changed..

user control must be paramount regardless of the "auto" settings requests. A user *MUST* have the option to fully control their status.

Once your tenant is using UPS (unified presence service), you should no longer have issues where DND changes back to available.

If you are on UPS, and are experiencing this issue, it would be super helpful if you can capture logs by typing Ctrl + Shift + Alt + 1, and send the file from your downloads folder along with any details to teamsml@microsoft.com.

    Thanks all!

jesus f**kin christ on a popsicle stick. WTF microsoft .. when are you going to get this f**king mess fixed? DISCONNECT F**KING TEAMS from unified f**king what ever..

*I* THE USER SET MY STATUS YOU DO NOT F**KING CHANGE IT ... HOW F**KING DIFFICULT IS THIS TO UNDERSTAND???

don't care if I'm in a meeting .. give ME THE USER the ability to control the status! Give it a f**king checkbox .. control by Teams / Office / Calendar .. or Control by User ..

Every time microsoft THINKS its knows best for the user, we find YET ANOTHER issue with their bullsh*t.

just had this DND to "non" dnd status happen .. have been upset by microsoft's auto changing for OTHER statuses for some time .. because our company uses a ticket system that sets calendar "busy" time .. and here we are .. microsoft thinks that sh*t is real.. and changes teams chat status .. f**king enough already microsoft .. just because our calendar says one thing .. doesn't make it so for the other..

eg.. I may be busy on a ticket issue, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't get information or chat from other team members ..

again.. give us the ability to BREAK the sync you think is so f**king ********** star spangled awesome .. because its not .. and its wrong and it should not be changing status unless the USER ok's it to do so!

Teams does what ever the F it wants to do apparently.
No changes by me what-so-ever .. yesterday .. restart PC like normal .. bring up winamp .. playing standard background stream... then someone chats me in Teams.. WOAH! It gave me sound with the dialog/banner thing .. ok .. finally .. sound..

Today same GDThing .. restart pc like normal .. bring up winamp .. I'm listening to a music stream .. so my audio is definitely working.. yet.. I'm getting no GD SOUND FROM TEAMS AGAIN!

Go into Teams settings what do I find? the audio device is not set properly .. I set them the way they should be set .. have a team member message me .. woah! sound again!

Then I think back to the last time I had a conf call in teams.. and remember.. wow.. I could be heard.. but I couldn't hear anyone .. what did I find that time? teams had the wrong sound settings again...

Hey microsoft... here's a novel f**king idea.. how about when a user changes settings in an app, you leave the f**king thing as is .. stop changing TEAMS settings without our knowledge. You obviously have something in the background going round and trying to be "helpful" in setting things when the OS *thinks* there is a change.. or maybe the app thinks.. oh.. the computer is set one way .. and teams thinks it should match... rather than keeping the setting the user SPECIFICALLY set ... WTF Microsoft .. stop thinking you know better at program start than the user that last set your settings to work .. leave sh*t alone .. or give us a LOCK THESE SETTINGS button or SOMETHING .. but stop f**king with our devices and controls..

hopefully this time I'm ****** enough to remember teams is f**king me every chance it gets so I can go back and set it correctly when I restart my machine. Its these little things microsoft .. that you ***** up so perfectly, that really **** people off.
