Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.

I pinned a post and couldn't for the life of me figure out where it actually pinned too... eventually I googled it and saw you have to click on the info button and scroll to the bottom... that is NOT intuitive at all, and none of my users will find that. I expect pinned posts would show at the top/bottom/somewhere you can see without having to click into a tiny icon.

I'm being pushed to come up with a new calendar solution. I keep trying to delay so we can use whatever you come up with for a shared calendar in Teams, but I don't know how much longer we can wait. I mean Sharepoint has a group calendar, and Teams is built on Sharepoint basically, soooo... I don't see the hold up.
Thank you for the feedback. Changing the default setting is under review by the feature team, and your feedback is very useful as they are evaluating.
This item is still under review by the feature team. I have no details as to when a decision might happen.
Thank you for your patience. We are thrilled to that replying to a chat message in the desktop client is now available as part of our Public Preview. It is expected to roll out to the public ring over the next several weeks.
For details on switching to the Microsoft Teams Public Preview version, please see : https://aka.ms/TeamsPublicPreview.
We look forward to your preview feedback!
Thank you for your feedback! The team has finalized the designs for this feature request, and work is planned to begin shortly. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
Please add to the comments if you are experiencing this. I would like to know the OS and device you are using as well.
I’ll bring this feedback to the feature team and help get this investigated.

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.
