Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook

if you have an existing post that you want to show in a different channel, you can edit the message and cross-post. This will add the top-level post to the different channel, but will not include the full set of replies. We will keep this request in mind as we evolve the cross-posting feature in the future and update if the status changes.
Details on cross posting can be found here: https://support.office.com/article/cross-post-a-channel-conversation-in-teams-9c1252a3-67ef-498e-a7c1-dd7147b3d295.

We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.
You can follow the rollout via our Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=57213. To see a preview of the experience, please visit https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.

Is this stilll not done? How is this possible? This is an important feature that should've been designed right from the start. It's not even a feature, but a design flaw. Guys please take some lessons from Discord, Slack even telegram. This causes more issues than you can imagine and just frustrated many many users.

Shifts should be made much more than a basic clock in clock out. It can be a time tracker that allows for monitoring on daily employee activity. For example it can monitor idle time etc. Allow employees to choose projects they are spending time on. Sort of like TeamLogger, well it can be without the screenshot feature although that is an interesting one as well.

Okay this is again a terrible design flaw. How do you plan to be better than your competitors like: Slack Discord Telegram etc.. when you don't implement such basic features. Why would you skip this? I have outside collaborators that give up on me at using Teams because they cannot share they work(mostly in the form of files) in a chat. Who was the genius behind this idea?
Do is sharing GIFs more important than sharing files? I thought Teams was a serious collaboration platform.
EDIT: UNDER REVIEW since Jan 22, 2018 ? Oh dear god.
