Hi everyone! If you do not want to use the OneNote Staff Notebook or any of the other default tabs across the various team types, we suggest creating an ‘Anyone’ team instead.
The ‘Anyone’ team will not include any add-ons by default and gives you the flexibility to use Teams however you would like. We understand that there are so many other ways you can use Teams that does not fit the Class/PLC/Staff team template. So ‘Anyone’ will be your best option!

I would like to have to option to remove the default notebook that gets created for a team site and use and existing one instead.
I do agree that for the notebook that is created by default with a team:
1) It can be renamed
2) It can be replaced with an existing notebook
3) OR upon creation of the team, you add the option to merge with an existing sharepoint and all files get copied over along with notebook.
This is not only necessary it will help you sharepoint users adopt teams.
