Due to prioritization of other work-items this has been moved to the backlog. We will update when it is being actively worked on again.

We have raised this request with the feature team, and will update you when we have more details.
I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.
Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

Trying to scroll to the top of a very long group converstaion, trying to find a specific topic in a conversation without having to search the entire Teams topic and treads, trying to use the key board to navigate within a conversation, trying to use ctrl+f to find something within a conversation won't work.
Even the filter on top of the chat tab works only on contact names where it says filter by keyword, it does not filter the content, only the contact names...another defying the purpose issue
Any suggestion to help navigate, this is kind of defying the purpose of efficiency that Teams promises.(Personal opinion)
