   Yes.

   For the people suggesting OneNote: Please Stop. Why should I use a completely different tool for a completely different use?

   I use Slack's self-message to copy and paste log-snippets, files and screenshots around between computers conveniently. I keep OneNote for organized note-taking.

   Chatting with yourself should work by default. Microsoft consciously decided to block this for no good reason. Nobody ever heard of an email client stopping you from emailing yourself.
