As stated in the last update, the ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is being implemented in stages for Desktop. Faster tenant switching functionality on the Windows client has been rolled out to the public ring fully, and Mac will begin rolling out soon. Work is in progress on cross-tenant notification improvements, and support for multiple accounts on desktop will follow. We’ll keep you posted!
Note: The ability to use multiple Teams accounts at the same time is supported on iOS & Android today.
Alex & the Teams team
We are working on the release of the Tasks application in Microsoft Teams that will aggregate data from Microsoft To-Do, Planner and Outlook with more capabilities on the way. You can see Planner data in Kanban views today, and the Tasks app will continue to support that view. In January we announced task publishing which will release with the new app. Get an overview at https://youtu.be/rTATVGroEsQ.
We are excited to announce the 3×3 video view has been rolled out 100% to for Windows and Mac Clients. If you aren’t seeing 3×3 yet, please logout and log back in to the client.
We realize 3×3 is a start, but not good enough… as mentioned, we are continuing to work to include more videos during a meeting, as well as enabling support for mobile devices. Hence, the “partially done” status.
Please see documentation here: https://support.office.com/article/using-video-in-microsoft-teams-3647fc29-7b92-4c26-8c2d-8a596904cdae
Improvements to day/work week/week view are in the public ring. Our focus now is a new scheduling experience and scheduling assistant, appointments and more.
For feedback related to Group Calendar please see this User Voice item: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16933204-include-office-365-group-calendar-in-teams.
The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.

We are looking to move our office from RingCentral to Teams with Microsoft Phone System and calling plan. With RingCentral, each user has an assigned phone number like Teams. Unlike Teams, users can send/receive sms/mms messages from their assigned number. We use this feature quite a bit. Unlike a 3rd party add-in or service, it is included for each user at no extra charge as part of our RingCentral service and does not limit the number of messages you can send. Our users can text clients without having to use and give out their personal cell phone number. This is a must-have feature for businesses. We hope this is a feature that will be added to Teams.
The rollout of Multi-Window Chat is progressing well. If you don’t have it yet, please sit tight. We continue to expect to have it fully enabled in the public ring by the end of May.
Note: Per the roadmap, Multi-Window Meetings & Calls will be enabled in June.
Thanks for your patience & enjoy!
