Great performance and user experience remain a topmost priority for us. Application launch time has seen improvements in the recent build. We will continue making improvements across the product including channel to chat switching and overall resource consumption.
This feature item is still in the works. We will keep you posted as we have new info from the feature team.
We are working on a design with more density in mind. Until this design is solidified we are putting this item back to Under Review.
The team continues to make progress on this. We will share more details as we have them.
We have been iterating on different designs and are starting to test internally. I don’t have a timeframe but will keep you posted.

So true - it's really unclear as to whether you're starting a new conversation or not, especially when you're responding and switching between programs. There needs to be a better way on the desktop app to just reply to a conversation/be in a conversation view.
