    I agree with frustration. I hope MS will change it.
    If you are techy, here is a temporary workaround for Windows users:
    1. Install AutoHotKey: it intercepts your keyboard and replaces it with whatever you program it to do.
    2. Save a script file in your Windows Startup folder with this content:
    ; Over-ride the Enter key, to send shift-enter instead IF inside Teams window:
    #IfWinActive Microsoft Teams
    enter::Send +{enter}
    NumpadEnter::Send +{enter}
    #IfWinActive
    3. Run this script, and Enter will act like Shift-Enter; while MS Ctrl-Enter already has Ctrl-Enter set to do what we expect.
