Would be very useful for us to begin using Teams for contractual negotiations with external parties

Thank you for your feedback, the team has this request under review. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

In the meantime, you may want to try using the “Do No Disturb” status if you are in a call or meeting, and do not want to get call notifications (rings and toasts). For more information on the various status settings in Teams and how they effect your notifications, including call notifications, please visit https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-your-status-in-teams-ce36ed14-6bc9-4775-a33e-6629ba4ff78e.

The feature of busy-on-busy simply tells the caller 'unable to complete call' and then drops the call. This is terrible in a corporate environment and is quite embarrassing for myself because I assumed that this feature would be automatically part of the solution. I am questioning why I recommended this to my company

We are experiencing the same problem with our Yealink T58A. The temporary solution was to create a group and make the phone user a member of the is group. Add it to the call queue instead of the user and it would appear to work okay. However this is not a proper fix.because we want a serial queue and if they are a ll a member of the group then it dials at the same time for all of them

This would be a valuable feature because it is of great concern to my staff that they will receive cold calls outside office hours. Limiting it to just the calls in you priority list would be useful.

I believe that this is available but not globally.
A Microsoft API is available to properly backup Microsoft Teams but it has not available in Australia and Microsoft Support were unable to provide a date.

we have this!  ·  Suphatra responded

Hi everyone — here’s some clarity on our legal compliance.

As of now, Chat history for a Team is stored infinitely and available for eDiscovery/Content Search. So, the answer to your question depends on what you mean by closing the project. If you close the project, but don’t kill the Office 365 Group/Team associated with, everything should be still searchable. You should be able to recall/search for all chat activity that happened within the Team by scoping your compliance content search to the appropriate group mailboxes. The data is not lost.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! You can post a message here or tweet me @skprufo.

    Thanks,
    Suphatra
