I have a related problem. Live events indicates the participants in the "Attendee Report" that participated during the live transmission, however, you can't see who has connected to the recording if they use a Windows machine, but you can if they use an iPad or mobile phone.

I (and the people I work with) are suffering from this same bug ever since the company I work for changed our default communications app from SfB to Teams a few weeks ago.
As Scott indicates, when the computer goes into the "Away" status, after being inactive for more than 5 minutes, it doesn't return to "Available" unless I select the Teams window. As we are still working from home during the pandemic, this has been a real issue.

There are a number of similar threads to this one with the same/similar issue, and this has been reported for over 4 months now. When are you going to acknowledge this bug and fix it?

In my case we have a number of private channels on one of my Teams sites where we have threads that we want the channel team (50 people) to participate in, but as hardly nobody seems to press the reply button (they just start new conversations) there is no way of controlling which thread they are responding to, as everything is ordered by time.

I really can't understand why you can have this option in a public channel but not in a private one.

Thank you for your continued feedback, we have not forgotten about this ask. We have a feature on the backlog for popping out content, so you will be able to see one screen with the video gallery and one screen with the shared content. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

For the separate feature ask for full screen option, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/41277121

For split screen camera and desktop, please upvote and comment at https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103/suggestions/37118773

Now we have the "Together Mode" it is very frustrating that we can't view this and the shared screen at the same time to see people's reactions. I agree with some of the suggestions that having a pop-out window for a second screen would be a good option.
Another alternative would be to allow the option to pin the shared screen, as you can do with the webcams to allow both on the main screen (something that I assume would be fairly easy to implement).
Alternatively, allowing the video bar to be vertical with a the option to change the width of this bar, similar to Zoom.

Additionally, there is very similar UserVoice request (https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/37291222-split-screen-in-ms-teams-meetings) which at the time of writing has around 1100 votes. The combined votes of these requests are over 3000. Sort this out Microsoft.

Just want to add that Live Events meetings also require this (as well as a notification indicating that the event has started as normal meetings do) for all channel member.

Thank you for your continued feedback, the team is currently planning for this work. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

Note: Your meeting attendees receive a non-mirrored video including the image of you and any text, whiteboards, etc. The image and video in your Call Monitor screen is shown to you only, as if you were looking in a mirror.

I have a Jabra 510 which works perfectly in SfB, but like many people who have posted here, the quick access buttons don't work in Teams.
Not being able to answer or end a call is annoying, but the deal breaker for me is the mute button.
If this doesn't get sorted out soon, I am going to have to make a decision: do I change my speakerphone (and those of the other partners in my company that have the same issue) or use another supported software?
Easy answer I will be changing to another software and I am sure that many others will do the same. Sort this out ASAP or you will end up losing many customers.

I can't believe this doesn't have more votes. This is essential for good housekeeping and making it easier to find historic conversations in the future, especially at the moment with many people transitioning over to Teams and not really understanding it.
The page layout also makes it easy to start a new conversation instead of a reply by mistake (especially as a normal chat conversation doesn't have the reply feature).. I personally think that the individual posters as we as the Channel admins should have the ability to move these messages to the correct threads.

Surely this is an easy fix and would substantially increase flexibility. I originally hadn't realised about the pages option and just started writing with different sections. As the page has grown I decided that it would be better to organise everything monthly and created some pages to do this, only to discover that I couldn't move them and will have to copy and paste each section title and then it's content separately.
Not very efficient, and against my understanding of the concept of Teams.

Thank you for your feedback! We are updating this as “Partialy Done” as our first step to solving for pinned posts has been released! Pinned posts allows users from a team to pin a message for everyone in the channel to be able to easily reference. While any message can be pinnable, we expect our users to use this feature to pin information like channel guidelines or important announcements. We know this doesn’t solve all pinning scenarios, and that there is still a need to make this easier for users to find, especially within the message list. We will share another update as soon as it is available.
