When a meeting happens within our team (between us, or any team member having external meetings), i would like the ability to enable an admin or group owner policy that ensures that ALL meetings we have are recorded.
This is intended to reduce the human error related to having to manually start recording for all meetings. This needs to be teams based, as my team audits and gathers info form third parties using these meetings, so the video is critical for later clarification etc. Company wide policies won't work, as non of the executives want their meetings recorded unless on demand.
We are currently testing the new Tasks app internally. We will share an update as soon as it’s available.
Adding any emoji as a reaction remains under review.
I am marking this as partially done to let you know a new reactions bar with Like, Heart, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Angry has begun rolling out to all users.
Adding email as a left tab panel remains under review. We are working on adding several Teams and email integrations:
- Share to Teams: Share a copy of an email and any attachments into a chat or channel directly from Outlook
- Share to Outlook: Share a copy of a channel or chat conversation via email directly from Teams
- Actionable Teams Activity Emails: Teams missed activity emails display the latest replies and allow you to reply directly from Outlook
See this post for more information:
We are now preparing for the roll out of Tasks in Teams which will integrate additional features integrating To-Do and Planner. This includes additional list views that also extend to tabs in teams. Further announcements about additional integration in our overall Tasks coherence effort will follow.

This continues to be on our backlog due to prioritization of other work items. We will update when there is more to share.
Thank you for all your responses to the design survey. The survey is now closed.
Group Calendar is a priority for the team, and the feature team is continuing work on it. You’ll start to see some incremental improvements. We look forward to sharing more details and timeframes soon.
The engineering team is continuing to work on adding support for multiple accounts on desktop clients. We will first launch support for 1 work/school account and 1 personal account so users can enjoy Teams for work and personal side-by-side. Windows and MacOS. Support for multiple work accounts is still being worked on and will come at a later date.
You can track status via the roadmap here: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?searchterms=68845.
This item remains on the backlog.
