I’m excited to announce that a new Large Gallery view, with the ability to see up to 49 participant in a meeting, is coming soon to Teams! Large Gallery will release as an optional (preview) feature that can be turned on at any time during a meeting. Large Gallery has a flexible design and will deliver a network-optimized client video experience that works on multiple device categories. During the preview, the Large Gallery experience will be available for desktop Teams client on both Windows & Mac, as well as for mobile Teams client (iOS, Android) users.

Large Gallery will begin rolling out with the new pop-out meetings experience for desktop clients in early July, and we are targeting full availability including mobile clients for iOS and Android by early September.

For more details, check out the Roadmap item: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=65333.

    Thanks,
    Alex & the Teams team

This is paramount considering the amount of information we are putting into Teams these days.

This feature request is still in the works. I hope to have more updates soon. I’ll keep you posted.

Still nothing regarding making sort order "sticky" in Teams? This makes using the files section painful for our teams.

We are working on replacing an existing project management system with a combination of MS Project Pro, Teams and Planner. The PMO is currently working on over 200 projects and we would like to manage these within one PMO team. The limitation of 200 channels including deleted ones is a major problem for us. We need to be able to keep all project data within Teams (a feature that our current solution, Wrike, allows) and not hit the 200 channel limitation. The ability to archive channels and maintain the information without hitting the 200 channel limit would be fantastic.

9000+ votes and this is still "considered for future release". Slack and twist both have this capability, it shouldn't be so hard to implement.
