Best practice in Teams according to Microsoft Documentation? Limit the number of Teams you create in your organization to keep everything "tidy". We want to create private channels within the 40 person PMO/Professional team in order to manage our hundreds of projects - we don't want to create a team for each project. Each project has a subset of members working on each one and we'd like for our teams to only see those projects they are members of - thus private channels... only to realize that private channels are a second class citizen to public channels - can't add Planners, can't integrate 3rd party apps (Wrike for example)... Not a very good implementation. Another gripe - Microsoft says use good nomenclature to distinguish between teams and channels but we are imposed a 50 character limit on channel names.

This is paramount considering the amount of information we are putting into Teams these days.

We are working on replacing an existing project management system with a combination of MS Project Pro, Teams and Planner. The PMO is currently working on over 200 projects and we would like to manage these within one PMO team. The limitation of 200 channels including deleted ones is a major problem for us. We need to be able to keep all project data within Teams (a feature that our current solution, Wrike, allows) and not hit the 200 channel limitation. The ability to archive channels and maintain the information without hitting the 200 channel limit would be fantastic.

9000+ votes and this is still "considered for future release". Slack and twist both have this capability, it shouldn't be so hard to implement.
